Unf*ck Your Life in 2 Minutes
How to actually make a change, and stop lying to yourself
You’re stuck in a hole, living simply off small bursts of motivation.
You keep telling yourself you’re going to make a change, but as soon as the moment comes that you actually need to do something, you put it off again because it’s ’HARD’ or you’d rather sit on TikTok.
Well, here’s how to unf*ck your life in less than 2 minutes:
STEP 1:
You need to clarify the direction in which you want to move your life.
Here’s a quick question:
Would you ever get in an Uber and not tell the driver where you want to go?
How can you expect to live the life you want to live, and be where you want to be if you don’t even know the destination?
This is exactly what you’re doing with your life right now.
You’re trying to get somewhere, but this somewhere is truly just some vague idea in your head.
‘Hey Uber driver, I think I want to go to a restaurant, but I’m not sure which one’.
Do you not see the issue with doing this?
The ONLY way for you to get ANYWHERE is to have an extremely clear picture of your DEFINITE destination.
Find, and commit the time to figuring out EXACTLY what your destination looks like for you.
STEP 2:
Create a vision.
Now that you have clarity on your destination, you need to work backwards and find out exactly what’s needed of you, and what you need to do to get there.
Create a step-by-step plan.
You want to start an agency and charge people monthly retainers?
Use the law of averages.
Work out exactly how many emails you need to send to get a sales call, then work out how many sales calls you need to take to close a client. It’s as simple as that.
For example: (these are vague numbers, by the way, some may find it easier than this, others harder)
You need to send 200 emails to get a sales call.
You close 1 client in every 5 sales calls
So, with that logic, to close a client, you need to send 1000 emails.
Yes, you can optimise along the way but put simply, those are the inputs you need to put in to get the outcome you want.
Then it’s simply execution.
You can create your own luck if you’re willing to put in the work.
STEP 3:
You need to develop your mindset.
As of right now, you’re more than likely being held back by limiting beliefs.
‘Too risky; I can’t do that…’
‘I’ve never done this before, I’ll probably fail, that’s not for me…’
‘That’s not for me; it’s too hard…’
STOP.
You need to lock in.
Control your mind, and fortify it, building resilience against attacks on your mindset.
It’s only hard or something not fit for you because you believe it to be.
Do you think Jeff Bezos thought to himself, ‘I’ve never done this before; I can’t do this’?
No.
He didn’t listen to a word his mind said to him, he just did it.
And look where he ended up.
No one ever starts knowing everything.
You just need to be that guy who starts, no matter what their mind tries to tell them.
Don’t take no for an answer.
And do what you want to do, regardless of whether people believe in you.
No one ever got anywhere by stagnating in their own mind.
Seek discomfort.
And FINALLY:
You actually need to take action.
There will always be things to be scared of, no matter how far along the line you are.
And no one who started anything big ever knew much when they first started.
They learned along the way.
Or, you could have all the knowledge in the world from all the YouTube videos you’ve watched, but if you choose not to use it, then it’s just simply rotting in your brain.
You have everything you need to start right now.
It’s you vs. yourself.
Take control.
START.
